Several Optimist Clubs from the East Missouri District of Optimist International met to present an activity table as a gift to the Columbia Public Library.  The table has several different children’s activities and is now located in the Children’s Area of the library.  The plaque on the table says : “A Gift from the East Missouri District of Optimist International in Honor of the Columbia Area Optimist Clubs.”

There to present the table were Ed Musterman, Carl Scott & Rick McKernan from the Downtown Optimist Club; Tom Luckenbill, Steve Boyd, Rick Kitchen, & Ed Kinkade from Kids First Optimist; and J.B. Waggoner, the Assistant Governor of the East Missouri District.
